CAPERS / VMS ELIT / WHATEVER ARCHIVE
Dregs LP (pre vinyl mastering)
The Dregs LP was recorded over a few days in March, 2018, and released on Förlag För Fri Musik later
the same year. Edition of 200 or so, but I'm not sure. This is the pre-mastered version, so a little
less compromised. I like it!
Brunstblot C30
This was my third proper cassette, recorded and released sometime in 2017. Usual capering, I suppose?
VERY happy with side A, "Arcs Of Piss". The title-track on the flipside, not so much. Too aimless, too
many twittering dumb sounds. But here it is anyway. This, and the first too Capers tapes, has alot of
guitar by the way. Wish I hadn't given it away, my old Les Paul. Such a good noise tool.
Slowest Death C20
Slowest Death was my second tape, recorded not long after my first properly released tape, Fissures.
More focused and determined, I'd say. Still happy with it! Bone dry neanderthal noise. The zip-file
also has a scanned j-card if you wish to dub it onto tape and shelf it nicely.
Destruction Derby WAV
Destruction Derby MP3
VMS ELIT - Destruction Derby was recorded a summers day in 2015. A live mixing/processing of a big bag of
sounds - from my kitchen and from a pond full of wild ducks. I didn't have any mics back then. Just my
Fostex 4 track, some pedals, a guitar amp and some tape players. I abandoned this moniker years ago, but
even though A couple of the VMS ELIT cassettes I did later on are not too shabby, but this is the one
I think holds up the best today. Enjoy, if you must!
E.N. - Fungae WAV
E.N. - Fungae MP3
A 20 minute thing recorded live to tape a sullen evening, autumn 2020. One of my pedals somehow got
overheated (DOD Thrashmaster) somewhere in the middle of the session and there was smoke coming out
of it, and it started acting strange, causing some very unwanted meowing sounds. I kept them though.
I then dubbed a few copies and sent out as an autumn postcard of sorts to a few friends. I've been
on and off about releasing this properly. I think letting people just download it and dubbing it if
they deem it worthwhile will do.
1. E.N. - Axis City - Axis City
2. E.N. - Axis City - Ove Tenebrae
3. E.N. - Axis City - Metal Eaters
Axis City is a three-track 40:ish minute "album" I recorded during fall 2020 as well. Or perhaps spring
2021? Can't remember exactly. Anyway, I listened quite a bit to Thirdorgan's Cyclotron tape at the
time. A very sci-fi sounding piece of work. Great stuff! I also read David Bunch's Moderan,
Greg Bear's Eon and Moebius The Incal at the time, and loved them all. Great great works to
get completely lost in. So yeah, I tried my best to, by analogue means, make it sound like an Amiga 500
caught fire. I think I succeeded. Is it great? I don't know. It most likely wont manifest physically
(besides the four or five copies I dubbed for a few buddies). Still, it's close to heart, this one,
for some reason.
